Ive been watching MMA and the UFC since the mid 90s, and honestly, I think Overeem is one of the scariest , most intimidating guys I have ever seen in any division... Unless Im missing something he has an advantage in every aspect over Lesnar, other than Wrestling, which he has a good takedown Defense for, and an insanely brutal clinch.. Overeem is an old version of Velasquez with twice the physical and striking power but minus the wrestling .. IMO Cain is the best HW out right now , and is probably a better fighter than Anderson Silva, ( who got an amazing sub over Sonnen, who was kicking the **** out of him )

Bottom line, Brock... You have to go into a fight with someone with better ( and harder ) hands than Carwin, A man with a much harder Chin than Herring, A man with more Skill and Experience than Velasquez, A man with a better clinch than Couture, and a man that hates you more than Frank Mir... Good ******* Luck!!..!!..

the whole world knows his boxing is terrible.. But he he thought that Carwin was a heavy handed boxer, he is in for a BIG reality check ....

I've been into the MMA sports for quite a while myself, I've watched the game grow from the small sprouts that started it all.

That's not the only thing I've seen grow though, Alistair I have as well, I've enjoyed watching him make leaps and strides in these years.

It's so great that he is evolved into a mean machine, I cannot wait to see what happens in the near future with him. Get 'em Alistair!

I had the chance to meet and talk with the Overreem brothers after the Strikeforce show in STL a few years back. Great guys and they both just ridiculously huge.

As for the fight, if Lesnar does not improve his stand up he will lose and quickly yet again. If he has, then it may just be a decent fight for a few rounds.

Even though we are in MN, we don't have to care for Brock, I know I don't, hell, I wanted Carwin WWAAYY over him because Carwin is a full-time ME for the Army core of engineers! Works full time, and only trains when he can. He also got paid 1/25th of what Brock was paid for that fight. And it's always been that way. Brock is a ***. I'm sorry. IDK what it is about him I can't stand. I got to meet him at a Rotary club deal in Alexandria, MN where he's from, he seemed nice, but we only exchanged a few words though I would have loved to have a conversation with him but really I was in awe more than anything; and of course would not have trash talked his insanely intimidating *** to him... But I digress. Carwin, he's an amazing person I feel. He doesn't get to just sit on millions of dollars and train everyday either. Woops, I went off topic with a ramble again.

Brock has an easy path to victory: his wrestling. Overeem cannot get up like Cain did after brock took him down.

That being said the fight starts on the feet so Overeem will prolly knock brock out before he gets the fight to the ground. I would rather Reem win so him and Dos Santos can fight for the title. Either way i'll be watching
