I've got to use my factory head unit because it's the brain of my truck I was colder at several thousand dollars to install a top of the line unit so I passed on that. My question is... is there a route/jailbreak type thing I can do to open it up to do more things?? Maybe a better eq or something

You would do all that with a DSP/LOC. It converts the radio's speaker outputs to low signal and then you set the EQ curves to your liking.
