I disagree. I think the voters should select the supreme court justices since they seem to make laws now.

Since the Presidents Nomination will still have to be confirmed by the Senate, the voters essentially do have their voice represented by the senator in which they themselves elect.

In all honesty though, it's the presidents call on the issue.

By our laws, he has the right to select anyone he chooses for the court, regardless of their political views.
