I'm talking about the actual "snailshell" not the transmission line design or whatever, trust me, his version is down to perfection with specific models of subwoofers. I stuck a 12" XXX in my snailshell and it sounded like ***, his boxes are made to order for specific drivers. You really need to hear one, your ears are missing out, haha.(i'm sure you've heard some sick installs)

Ok cool, any advice on the type X if he decides to change. I told him the type R may not deliver the loudness he wants, then again, i've never heard a type r with 800 watts.
