Why does it say in the dual 4ohm ,one sub and one amp hook up diagram 8ohm?That sounds like it will ****.Jumper cable in the middle and + and - on either end.Is that how I should hook it up?

This is going on a mrd 300 alpine mono amp

wire it down to 2 ohms, run wire from both of the positive terminals together, and a wire from both negative terminals together

Thanks guys.So then my + and - from the amp go to each end not on one end next to each other on the sub right?

This is my 10" 2+2ohm below.How would you say they have it wired?Is it wired 2ohm?It's on the same type mono amp as above
