Two IDQ15 V2's or Two Oz Audio ME 15's

I want something that sounds amazing on a budget but can get loud and low. Right now I have whats in my sig and it I just want more bass but I don't want to spend more than $500 on subs and keep the watts under 1500. I want two 15" subs too, would the IDQ's be enough for me? I don't know much about Oz but Ive read good things, will they get louder than the IDQ's?

or would I be better off with the cheaper Type R 15"ers.

Both are great choices. Idq's will require less power and smaller box. ME's will probably be louder, but will also require a bigger box. Flip a coin. Can't go wrong either way.

2 IDQ 15"s will most likely be my next setup. They sound great. I can say the same for the OZ MEs for i've never heard them.

Oz Me's get low and dirty, sound good as well. They are very comparable to Idmaxes. If you want louder, I'd go with the Oz Me's just due to the fact that they have almost 2x the xmax of the IDQ's (25mm vs. 13.5mm)

If you want more tonality and pure SQ, I'd go with the IDQ's.

I've owned the oz me 12's, and one IDQ15.

both are great woofers but if you looking for a little more output I'd go for the Oz ME.

Thanks for the replies guys, how would you compare the OZ Matrix Elites to a Type R spl wise. Fairly close? I like it loud but it needs to sound clean and deep.

I wouldn't mind being the only one with Oz Audio around here though, nobody would know what the hell Im talking about. Doubt anyone knows ID either though.

from what i've heard the OZ MEs are similar to the iDmaxes but 'boomier'.

I had two 15" idq's runinn off a rockford bd 1000 and in my s-10 with a huge ported box it slammed hit in the mid to low 150's

I liked listening to the ME12.4...it was a fun driver...
