Two car question?

I have a 2003 Camry Se with the JBL factory. Can I hook up my 12w3's and Zr240 without affecting the factory system? Someone told me if I add an external amp to the JBL factory deck the interior amp will have to be disconnected. True or not?

My brother has a 1997/98 Maxima with the Bose system. If you take the Bose deck out will that affect the rest of the Bose system. Someone told him the Bose amp and speakers will not work without the Bose deck. He has the JVC Kamileon? and two powerbass 15's.

for the camry question, its shouldn't affect it at all, all you have to do is get the piece that converts your rear speakers wires to male rca connectors. this shouldn't affect your internal amp, it may not sound very good, but it's worth a try.

i'd recomend getting a new head unit that has pre-outs. would sound alot better

for your brothers, you could use an aftermarket deck with them, no problem at all they will still work.

Most of the time you cant use an Aftermarket deck with a factory amp, also you usually cant use any aftermarket components with a factory amp. as for your situation...you need a Line output converter (LOC for short) there are cheap ones, and there are expensive ones like the JL audio Cleansweep...basically in the LOC field you get what you pay for.

Uhhhhhh yeah you can.

You just need to reconnect the remote for the factory amp to the HU. And you CAN use aftermarket speakers with the factory amp. It may not sound like it would with an aftermarket one.. but still, it'll work.
