Two 12w3v2 or one 15w3v2

Hello

I want to install either two 12w3v2's or one 15w3v2 runnning off a JL Audio 500/1 amplifier. I will run the two 12's 4 ohm DVC in series to get an overall resistance of 4 ohms, or the 15 at 4 ohms.

Which will be better, the 15 will be optimally powered at 500 watts while the 12's will be a little underpowered. Which will be louder, which will have better sound quality, will the 15 have slower transient response?

I really like JL Audio, but if you can think of another install that you genuinely think will be much better please respond. Maybe even different JL stuff.

The two 12W3'S HAVE 43 square inches of cone over the simgle 1500depends on you power.

but he doesnt have the power to push em.

If the 15 is much cheaper Id go for it.
