Twisted tinsels on new SA-8

Is this going to cause a problem in the future?. Id rather not have to send one back as fedex was an absolute nightmare and having to wait etc...

One side is fine, the other has the tinsel twisted.

Shouldnt be a problem.. It looks as if the metal terminal piece its attached to may be twisted?

You should be fine as long as that doesn't add tension to the spider..which its not looking like it would..

If its that big of a deal to you, you could cut away the heatshrink and unsolder the tinsel and redo it I guess.

If you undo the nut on the top of that terminal post you should be able to just flip that ring terminal around and untwist the tinsel lead. It doesn't really look like its an issue where its at though. I doubt that section of the tinsel moves much if at all
