Twisted audio amp or CT Sounds 1400?

Ok, so is it worth replacing my old hifonics Brz 1700.1D for the CT 1400.1D? I'm just kinda confused because some people say hifonics don't do rated and that CT 1400.1D seems to do 1800 RMS clamped.

yes you wont be disappointed with the CT

No, just a big 3 on a 10 sundown zv4 so maybe an amp with max RMS of 2200 and nothing over that because I really don't want to upgrade alt.

I just don't think there's enough power difference to warrant the cost of buying the 1400.1.
What's your electrical like? Is it enough to support 2k+? What sub(s)?

You could easily get your amp clamped to see what it is actually making for power. I would do that long before spending money on another amp, just because a bunch of strangers said you should ....

Then at least you know what you would need to buy, to make any improvement over what you already have ....

Otherwise, you are just guessing ....

Your current electrical wouldn't support a SQ2200 comfortably. You'll need a good quality AGM battery. What vehicle? How big is your stock alt?

If the stock alternator is really small, I wouldn't recommend running the 2200.
