Tweeters WAY too annoying

the tweets have "internal crossovers" lol cloudwalka, what do you mean? on separate channels?

also, can i wire the tweets off the headunit and still use the rca outs? for the amp? i've never used it this way, i'm just wondering if there would be adverse effects.

Anyways, yes you COULD run the tweets off the headunit and still use the RCA outputs.

*theorizing* so i put the tweets on the headunit, the 4 channels on the amp, then turn the tweets to a specific level, and then turn up the amp to the correct (or desired) listening level.

That sounds logical, correct?

those tweeters arnt made to sound good FYI, they just there to be loud, just a cheap piezo one

if you have an extra amp, put the amp on the door speakers and leave the tweeters on the HU

but they are always going to be very BRIGHT

hey man, i got the amp for 25 bucks online, i think it was a pretty good deal. I'm not financially able to buy expensive stuff right now so i'm trying to get the best sound out of what i have. I thought my system sounded great b4 i got the tweeters but i wanted a more redefined high-end and a slightly higher up sound stage, but i did get these tweeters for free because of a shipping mishap so i'll work with them until i can get either a good set of components or a good set of tweets.

ok, it kinda worked hooking them up to the head unit, now I'm just drizzling blood from my ears instead of gushing it. My max volume before it starts to hurt is 10 and it used to be about 19 lol (b4 the tweets were in). I'm debating what to do here/ or more wondering.
