Tweeters raise/lower impedance value???

Aloha!! Im new to the site and I've searched the forums but have not found what Im looking for. I think I know the answer to my question but I just want to make sure with everyone to be sure so here it goes. Will adding some tweeters to either front/rear speakers (I don't think it would matter anyway) raise or lower the impedance value that is being put on the amp, depending how its hooked up (series/parallel)?? The tweeters in question also has, I believe is the external cross-over. Thanks!!

That's what I was kinda thinking. I'm debating on which way to go with em. I know that the speakers that are in there now are 6.5" coaxial so I guess the best way to go is with components then. Thanks for the clarification though.
