Tweeters, any great deals on parts express to match Pyle Pro 10's?

Im looking for a tweeter/tweeters to mate up to a pair of these (one per door)

Pyle Pro PBW10S 10" Midbass | Parts-Express.com

The pyle pros will be in glassed sealed pods, getting about 300rms a piece.

The tweets will have there own rca output on my active deck and I have an amp that does 85 X 2 @ 4ohm or 150 X 2 @ 2ohm

I dont know how high the pyles will play, what would you guys suggest for a tweeter to match up to them??

Hoping to buy from parts-express.com

These were the only tweets I had my eye on so far, since they are 5ohm, I could use 2 or even 3 per door

I think you'll find locating standard dome tweeters to run low enough to match up to these speakers will be difficult. Advertised freq response only goes to 4kz, which is very low to expect a dome tweeter to play down to. And in my experience, the advertised upper end response of midbass drivers is usually exaggerated. Beaming in that midrange region, with that cone size, will also be a problem. Lastly, placing midbass drivers in small sealed enclosures usually hurts low freq response (versus IB or even ported) and you might actually get more midbass out of a smaller coned driver running IB in the doors. Smaller cones will also help combat the beaming issue.

For a full bodied, full spectrum response from a 2-way setup, there are a few options available. Yes, the most obvious being horns (thanks to the 'body' of the horn increasing LFR), but current technology still dictates that the most/best options still reside in going with a 3-way setup.

Well I do already have some dayton Rs-100's (only 2 of them)

But I was hoping to just run a tweet with that huge mid. Is the tweet I posted not capable of being crossed down in the 3k region??

What I dont quite get about a 3 way. Is that I only have mid/high rca outputs on the deck, the high output would obviously be for tweets only as it can only go as low as 1.2khz, but then I need to run this massive pyle mid and a midrange off the mid rca output somehow...

im using these on axis, crossed at 3150, and they're fine for me. Note the power handling on them.

To run 4-way (im assuming you have subs) you will more than likely need a new deck or an external crossover. I know of maybe 3 or 4 head units that have built in crossovers for a 4 way system.

RCA splitter brah.

I know what an rca splitter is, but I am running active, and since I will be running the pyle mids on that rca aswell, Id like to have the mid rca running something like 100hz and topping out at 3-3.5khz depending on what the driver likes which is controlled by my deck...

I thought it was much easier to run my subs on the sub rca, pyle pros alone on the mid rca, and a tweeter on the high rca. All on there own amps set to passive so I can control everything from crossover points and EQ on the headunit...

Unless Im missing something.

Is the Hivi tweeter not a good matchup for the pyle mid??

Audioholic mentionned horns, which I am unfamiliar with, but after a little search on parts express I feel they may be out of my budget.

I also should mention Im not looking to get much if any midbass out of the pyle pros, they would be crossed about 100hz or so

I also have a set of Selenium st350's that need the diaprams replaced, but I dont know if they would be suited for this install with there relatively high crossover point

Just run these then.. no need for tweets if you can mount these speakers on axis to your ears...
(I own these as well) I would cross them over at 500-1000hz, same with the pyle 500hz -1000hz.
