I have a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder and i do not know the kind of tweeter i need. There are 2 in the front and 2 in the rear. What are its sizes and what kind of tweeters am i looking for?

replace my stock tweeters with some aftermarket tweeters. Having aftermarket speakers on a 4 channel amp wont be a great combination when having 4 stock tweeters along with em.

So i need to know what size tweeters i need for my 94 pathy.

What does the rest of your system consist of? How are you planning on powering them? How are you planning on crossing them over?

hmm i really dont know. If u check my sig.. thats my system right there. I dont know for sure but im taking a good guess that my stock tweeters are being runned with my 6x8 on the 4 channel amp. And having that as a problem, my speakers are not trully getting their right amount of watts in the speakers.

If you have 3-way speakers in all 4 locations, IMHO it would be best just to ditch the idea of using additional tweeters all together.

if your using coaxials already, then yes.

When you upgrade to a component set, thats the time to replace those tweeters.

disconnecting them by just using a cutter and cutting the wires wont hurt anything right?

wrap electrical tape around the ends to make sure you dont get a short anywhere
