Tweeter mounting in an 07 Chevy Cobalt suggestions?

Basically there's no stock spot for a tweeter, and the air vents you can sometimes use are a weird oval shape.

I'm on a slim to no budget and I have no first hand fiberglassing experience. wtf am I going to do. I have a set of .75'' and a set of 1'' tweets needing to be placed.

maybe if there's space behind the black panal where the side mirror adjust I can carefully cut holes for them to fit in.

and yes i realize my dash and interior could use a whipe down.

speakers come in friday. saturday ill be playing around with them and look at options.

as of right now i'm thinking of cutting holes for the 1'' tweets right in front of the door handles between the handles and the dash. i think they're flush mount and swivle. the 3/4'' i'm thinking of mounting near the defroster vents up near the windshield. The all black grill and case will look decent against the black dash. I'll use just enough heavy strength double sided mounting tape to secure them in and not be visible.

we'll see if i can pull this off and keep it looking nice. as some of you know i've had some less than aesthetically pleaseing door work.

That is what I did on my 94 Honda Accord. Cut a hole on the door panel and surface mounted it there.

Here's what I did in my girlfriends '05 Cobalt. Easy and sounds good. These are 1" tweets with flush swivel mounts.

i like it. if i can must get flush mount cups for my 3/4'' tweets ill do them there. i dont really wanna do any dash moutning. my door panals have some scratches on them anyays so might as well hack into them a lil bit and put the 1'' by the door handles

All you have to do is fashion the tweeter into the A pillar... Its an easy process if your good with tools...

all i have available is a jig saw, a drill, and assorted hand tools. wish i had a table and or a router

Just get one of those drill bits that cuts out a circulatory hole bro.. than put that ***** in there, apoxy it and bam..done deal
