Tweeter Installation *TONS OF PICS*

LMAO this reminds me of when one of my friends super glued a pair of 6 1/2 speakers to his dash.
Did you use any super glue, too?

Dipshits these days.

ok... shows your immaturity immedietaly assume i super glued my tweets to my dash and call me a dipshit.. wtf? and if u read my previous post the mounting position is not final

Whether or not the actual mounting location decision has been finalized or not the manner in which you've routed your wires behind your dash that way has extremely limited your potential options.

From what can be gathered from the pictures you've posted the available options you have left yourself are, bar none, less than optimal for proper imaging.

Like I said in my first post in this thread...I'm not understanding why someone would go through all the trouble that you obviously did for no purpose other than to screw something up.

The above ^^^ has nothing to do with immaturity, fella. It has everything to do with apparently knowing more than you about the proper implementation of separate drivers and the effect said implementation has on overall system sound.

You went through heaps of hassle just to screw yourself, in essence. to most people, myself included, this is more than a bit nonsensical.

umm the why i ran the wires left me many options i simply take the wired from the dash(very simple) and run them otherwise, its funny how hysteric ppl get on a mounting position thats isnt even final... pretty comical

The "super glue" thing was a joke. I figured you were one of those people who thought "Hey if I super glue my speakers to my dash, I can hear them better"

I called you a dipshit because you took the time to mount your tweets there. You put them there for a reason, so yeah you're a dipshit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

what some ppl for some odd reason can not comprehend is that i can simply remount them the way i ran the wires.. when i have finished finding a mounting spot i will show you, its really simple and yet i get ppl calling me a dipshit.

Okay - how about this then:

You posted up pictures of this little project of yours. In doing so you left yourself open to editorial-type commentary from anyone who might happen to view it.

Those of us who seemingly know a bit more about aftermarket car audio than you appear to see something that is outside the realm of anything we ourselves might ever undertake due to knowing the end result would be less than satisfying to our more veteran ears.

Wherever they end up...if you like it then more power to you. It's all good.

It looks more than a bit silly to us and we responded in an appropriate fashion for it looking silly (as well as our knowing that it has no possibility to sound like anything other than absolute audible *** in its current configuration).

Don't like it?

Don't post your ghetto install pics anymore! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

ghetto? no this is not a ghetto install, just wrong placement and i agree that the tweeters are in the wrong spot. does anyone have suggestion on where to place these id appreciate ppl who have intelligent comments instead of the common sarcastic, pointless, flaming etc.. post

you're right, thats not ghetto at all :p

you should replace the coaxials with component speakers. you are running 6 tweeters and wondering why it sounds harsh.

I think you need to learn a thing or two before you start buying and installing shit

Shut the f*ck up and stop posting pointless shit, instead of saying something idiotic like what u just posted u could say Hey why dont u get those tweets out of that spot and put them etc... how do u think im going to learn, just reading shit? no im going to install and keep correcting it till i get it right which is exactly what im doing

1) Kudos for doing it yourself.2) It's all wrong.

Don't take it too personally, but the feedback you've gotten is right on.

You can do better, so go do it.

intelligent post^^^^^

except i wouldnt say its all wrong just the mounting which i am trying to currently correct, I do not have much experience with tweeters but after today i hope to have a better knowledge of tweeters with some help from you guys, instead of just getting flamed.
