tweeter distorts on ID ctx65's....silk got pushed in from shipping...opinions?

Ok so I opened my ID ctx65's and notices that the screen over the tweet was pushed in. I was like wtf, and they were brand new. So hooked them up off an h to try and they seemed fine. The screen wasn't punctured, just pushed in somehow. Is this ok, or is the tweet ****ed. At lod volumes the tweet seems to distort and the revs are smoother. Dont seem right to me
