TV or regular HU

right now I have a Pioneer avh-p6600dvd and I'm probably selling it this weekend or so. I was curious whether if I should just get another HU or get another TV. My choices on TV's were Panasonic, last years model which is like 500$ or maybe a Pioneer D3. Then regular HU's would be DEH-P780MP, or maybe something where I can adjust the backround or something nice. what would you guys suggestions be?

I don't really wanna get a monitor, then extra HU to run it through. means more wiring for me and I don't have much time during the week. any suggestions on HU's besides the one's I mentioned

I went with the JVC kd-avx33. It fits into a single din and has a HUGE display. I'm really satisfied with this hu. I think its the perfect middle ground between a "typical" hu and a flip out type.

Avic-D3 all the way. You have navigation, DVD, and CD playback. Also, I have a full thread on how to bypass it, which is very easy. It will be the best $800 you could spend. It has too many features to list though.

i got the avx1 and have ran it for over a year now. as a general head unit it is pretty nice. i wouldn't recommend it for watching movies though, unless you use external sunvisor screens, drop downs or head rest monitors, etc. screen is still too small. as a head unit though, i highly recommend it. the avx3 has alot more features than mine. my avx1 plays dvd's that are too scratched for my home player to read. very nice head unit.

man, I really do wanna get that, only thing is idk if it will fit into the space on the deck though. I think I have double-din but it's close. it's either that or the Pioneer Premier p780mp

Get a TV in your car and never look back....since you have already had a TV it wont feel the same if you put a regular head unit and you will catch yourself looking more at the reg head unit if you had it wired were you could play videos while driving before.
