tv installation need some help

alright i bought a cheap dash mount pyle screen off of vosschs which looks great and he was a great seller, but ive never worked with monitors b4 and he hasnt had it in the car for a while so he couldnt really help me. i was wondering if i could splice the power and ground wire from the monitor into the cd player wiring? i will be putting it right above the radio on the dash. if i were to splice into the wiring for the cd player which wires do i splice into?

im also going to be putting a ps2 in the console, i have no problems wiring that up but i was wondering if anyone has ever hard wired a ps2 to the battery so i wouldnt have to use an inverter.

well if you hard wired the ps2 to the batt you would need a isolater or something to make sure it doesnt drain the batt
