i have a autotek mm 1400.1 turns off once it gets warm it is in a location that should keep it cool. when u touch it, it is barely warm. any answers.

it is at 1 ohm did the same thing at 4ohm gain is only 1/4 of the way up

think woofer maybe getting crappy and put into protect. smelling lots of voice coil.
