I love personal pictures //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gifSorry OP, I didn't read your post correctly. I suggest an RPK if you want a good range gun. It is a big improvement over a regular AK-47. It has a longer, heavy barrel, heavy duty receiver, bi pod and it is a blast to shoot. It can get hard to hold it up since the barrel is long, but it's quite fun. I could post some pics or you could search for RPK on gunbroker. I paid $500 for mine. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I shot a kicked out AR and loved it. Very accurate guns. I'd rather have my RPK though, just to play with. I'll own an AR one day.Go to some local gun shops and look at prices on guns you're interested in. After shipping, and FFL fees and everything it might just be cheaper to buy one locally. Ive owned ak47's and ar15's and i strongly prefer and suggest the ar15. Check out the Saiga rifles.
Those go from $600-$750 in great shape. Mine has no numbers matching but is an actual RPK. I believe it was a fully automatic that was converted to semi. Or it was just thrown together.Thats exactly what I want. But at the moment to expensive for me. Something just like that. Not necessarily exactly that, but thats the kind of gun, setup I want. Assualt rifle, long barrel, lots of clips... you know.
