Tuning ?

I have started building a box but i need to know what dimensions i need the port to be in order to tune it. It is a single sub setup. The dimensions are 34wide by 15 1/4 high by 18 deep. I would like to tune it to 36hz.

a port that is 15.25" tall and 4" wide will give you 61sq" of port area. make it 17" long and that will give you 36hz.
