Tuning the Sealed Box ?

Hello,

I have a couple of questions.

I need to know the proper way to tune a sealed box for 2 12" type r's (4ohm dual voice coils).

Each side has 1.25 cu.ft. im not too sure how you arrive at 30-38 hrtz.

Another question here is, whats the proper way to set the gains on an amplifier?, is it just by sound clarity? I have a MMATS 200hc and I want to be able to maximize the sound output by using the proper setup with gain adjustment, built in crossover adjustment and proper box tuning, anyinformation would be greatly appreciated, if this topic has been covered some where please feel free to post the link.

Many Thanks Chris

Hello, thanks for the great information, I didnt realize sealed boxes didn't have to be tuned, I do not have the CD for adjusting the gains, instead of using that cd can I just play one of my favorite cd's?

Thanks

Awesome ! I will do that in the morning, i just had to completely disassemble my custom enclosure and then my box, because it wasnt sealed off good enough, but hopefully its good now that i redid it.

Thanks for the help
