As the heading said, I need help tuning my amp. It is a Hifonics Brutus 1700.1D. I have 2 Kicker 12" CVX 4ohms. I am running them down to 2 ohms. The amp power rating on 2ohms is 1200 watts RMS x 1. The subs are 1500 peak and 750 RMS. I need to know level, phase, bass eq,sub sonic, and low pass.

Thanks for your time!

First off, the CVX are either D2 or D4...which ones ya got?

Listen closely to what this guy says about where to set your hu and your gain. After you set your gain, the HU volume you used to when setting the gain is your max volume. After setting the gain, you can double check using the DMM method.

!I would have the bass boost off, if connected at all. The ssf setting will be determined according to your box design, but should be set around 20hz initially(or about 1/2 rotation). 80hz on the LPF is a good start (between 1/3 and 1/2 rotation on the setting). The Phase set to what sounds the best. Most of the time for me, it is set to 0.
