Tsunami 1100 loves the protect mode

One day I go out to my truck, turn it on.. and to my suprise I have no bumps. So when I got home I did the routine check on everything... it seemed ok. I checked all my fuses, my ground, etc.. everything is securely wired and looks fine. When I turn the truck on my amp goes into protect mode. However, if I turn my deck off then turn it back on the amp is NOT in protect mode and I can jam away until the next time I turn my truck on. This is just wierd? The gain is only half way up and the amp is in no way hot or anything. It just started doing out of the blue. I dont know why it would go in protect mode but then act ok when I restart my deck.

any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

If you don't get any replies and you are sure it isn't your wiring, you could always call up Tsunami.... who's gonna know their amps better than them.
