TS Parameters for a 18" RE MT?

dont sound like enough air space or port area,i would build around 6.5 cubic feet with at least 100 sq inches of port.

dont know if that is gonna be possible in a corsica. 4.5 will have to be built in the car as it is. and 4.5 is after displacement btw. thinking of using 6 x 4" flares, since i have them sitting here. what is the displacement of an 18" MT anyways?

these drivers dont need huge boxes. comthing like 5-6 cubes would be fine, let alone they are somewhat efficient from what david says. just because they can take a ton of power, 4k+ doesnt mean they NEED it.

I originally planned on a 15" but it was a last minute deal. I got a hookup from BJ so I jumped on it. I was originally planning on a 15" HD3

after displacement? I will have to see. I think Im gonna have to fiberglass the bottom panel to use the spare tire well into this. since my spare has been dead for a year anyways I guess i dont matter LOL. gotta buy a triple A

LOL yes after displacemetn your spare well should give u ATLEAST 1 cube or so.

gotta buy some thicker mat. I'll be here forever with the 3/4oz I use on regular boxes LOL. Lets see what I can do I think my well is about 1.5 cubes. anyways you think the x16 ratio is good on the MT? I know for a HD3 you want cuft x 16 for port area dont know how it is for the MT think teampsi will answer that?

there really are none that are useful.......start at 4.5 cubes at 37 and go from there......

t/s specs are rather worthless for competeing. not to mention that they are out of wack in any program you put the MT specs in.

4.5 cubes is pretty small for the MT 18. I'd say around 7 cubes @ 40 Hz with 100-110 sq in of port.
