TS Parameters for a 18" RE MT?

Looking to see if anyone has the TS parameters for an 18" RE MT dual .7 that im getting. Also what are recommened box sizes for competition. Havent found the resonant frequency of my car yet so I dont know the tuning. Just got my meter a couple days ago and its raining out so forget testing LOL.

there really are none that are useful.......start at 4.5 cubes at 37 and go from there......

t/s specs are rather worthless for competeing. not to mention that they are out of wack in any program you put the MT specs in.

94 Corsica, It was a last minute deal last night with BJ Fisher. I dont even have money for an amp yet. I need to sell off my 12" TC9 custom and BX1605D I think.

I gotta get the resonant frequency for my car but Im sure the tuning will be much higher for pure SPL right? not gonna use it as a daily driver at all. only competitions.

and the TS params are just for me nothing to do with the box building.

How far under peak frequency should I tune the MT for optimum? 2-3hz? 4-5?

Generally, peak is 5-7hz above tuning.

ya...the TS changes when you have differant number of spiders and VC configs.....so there is no set TS specs.....with somethign liek an MT all u need to know is a general voluem and tuning frequency, and u get

how much port area should I go with on a 4.5cube box? I calculated 72sqin this sound right or is it too little?

dont sound like enough air space or port area,i would build around 6.5 cubic feet with at least 100 sq inches of port.
