Trying to scam me on the bay

So I sell an item under the condition of "not working, for parts only" give a HUGE description of the item, and welcome all questions to clear up anything. Buyer purchases item, is disappointed item doesn't work, and asks for a refund. I politely point him in the direction of my description, he still wants a refund, I once again point him the direction of the description and refuse the refund. He opens a case and wins. I call and they can't understand how he won with my description of the item being clear, until they say he sent a tracking number, the item has been shipped back.

Here's where it gets grimey, the tracking number was for a 3lb package to CA. I live in AZ and that item is around 10lbs, he lied to fool the system into ruling in his favor. He then emails me several times asking for a refund, either full or partial and that he will send the item. Hold on, if he sent the item(like he told ebay) then it's out of my hands. Ebay has froze my paypal until it's resolved, THEY pay him and I pay them. Ebay hasn't been much help, they basically say wait a few more days and the refund button will become a respond button or something. PITA

This is why I fucking hate paypal and ebay. And is why I have to use the womans account, was scammed hard for around $700, which is now in collections. Good luck to ya bro, you'll need it

lol on the old lady's account also after being scammed

Never, ever, ever ship anything without tracking, its an automatic loss if the buyer says they never got it and you don't have tracking

eBay won't refund him if it shows the shipping info was sent to a completely different state. Last year I sold a PS3 to someone in California, they said it didn't work and "accidentally" pulled up a dispute to get my address. When they sent it back it was a completely different PS3, broken and glued back together in some parts. I got his number, called him and he refused to listen to anything I said. I told him I would report the case to mail fraud and take it up with a small claims court (although I obviously couldn't do that) and that I would spend more money than the PS3 cost me just to do what needed to be done. He actually refunded me, and never bothered me again. Although this was the ONLY time I got lucky like this.

Call eBay, get connected with the resolution center, hopefully you talk to someone who speaks English (they have 218402 people working for them that I can't even understand) and give them the tracking number. Explain thoroughly what the situation is, it ***** waiting on the phone for an hour or more but it's worth it.

I've talked to several people at ebay and NONE of them can see why it was ruled in his favor. The lady I talked to tonight actually laughed at him as my description was clear. She said I should have no trouble getting the decision reversed but who knows at this point.

sorry about your luck. i feel your pain.

i had this *&$#@ guy on ebay buy a perfect working white G&S amp (made by ppi). he swapped my good working board for a blown one that he could not fix. he puts a dispute on my account and says it was not as described.. i had to give him his money back because he did send the amp back to me.

the only thing the buyer didn't know was that i marked the original board and took detailed pics. i am not stupid..... i called ebay and bitched so hard , the lady gave me the 75.00 that i had to refund to the douche.. best part was that i fixed the amp for 5 bucks and resold it back on ebay for another 75 bucks.

you should call ebay and talk to somebody.... i would not let that fly..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smash.gif.499e08a4a35ffaf54f4c8194fb8fe8ed.gif

i have had more people try to scam me on ebay this year alone than all the years ive been a member. (since 2003) i have stories , let me tell you...lmao
