Trying to pick my hu once and for all

Ok so Im thinking I will up my spending limit here and maybe spring for the 9887... CD7100... 9835... or CD5000...

Im just not sure which way to go here... I like the looks of all of them really Im just not sure which is gonna be the best deal for the amount I pay... it seems itll be 450 ish for the 7100... 5000 will be 200-300.. 9835 a little under 300... and 9887 Im not sure.

Just curious which yall think is best here Im kinda leaning towards the 7100...

That is a sweet HU.....would be the one I choose, followed by the 9887. I would not even consider the cd5000 because of the preset time alignment.

Its just 400 is a little steep... although its a real nice looking head unit and seems to have some nice features as well as 8v pre outs

The Alpine 9835 is a excellent HU. If you want good SQ with all the new options bluetooth, usb ect. Go with the CD7100 or wait for the 9887 to come out. The 9887 sounds very interesting but will have to see how the imprint stuff is implimented.IMO

The CD5000 is not even in the same league as the other HU.

That is what I am running right now, but still like the added tuning that can be done with my CD7000.

If im willing to throw down 450 for the head unit is the CD7100 my best choice lol.

$399 for the 9887.. not recommending, but when it's out that's the price I think.. Also for auto-tuning there will be an extra tool for this unit to setup the MultEQ / Audyssey calibration.
