I'm new here..actually i just usually read and try to soak as much information as a cn without bothering anybody but i have alil situation.

i used to have a 2 HX2 12" RF being powered by bd1001 amp in my '02 Maxima.

i set the subs at 1 ohm and it killed my amp then later subs died later.

now i have nothing to bump in NY now. Usually people can hear me coming half a block away , even in the city, so i want to get that essence back in the trunk.

i've recently sat in a friend's Pathfinder, which had a Hifonics BXi2006 amp with one 15" sub(dunno the name) and i couldn't sit for another second cuz my throat was jumpin from the bass. I didn't have much Faith in Hifonics but now im purchasing that exact amp.

My question is what sub would be perfect to match?

I checked out the Massive CW12 sub in the other threads and I like how it performed. would that work or is there a better alternative(cheaper but good quality) for that amp?

im alil tight with money. that sub is expensive.

i was thinking about 2 MMats p 3.0 sub

well...i promised this kid that im buyin his amp..so im just searching for quality subs that can do the job without hurting my pockets.

i checked the CW12....alil expensive

i checked the SI Mag....woah...real Xpensive

i dunno anybody in NY that sell these subs...even if they do....i'll probably get hurt on the prive tag.

If you are trying to keep it cheap, a 15" Alpine Type R will be cheapest probably. anywhere from 200 to 240 shipped brand new on Ebay. Thats about as cheap of a quality sub as they come. Or get 2 12" Rs for 260 shipped bnib. Either of those should put you in the 140s with a decent install.

If you want a single sub that will take 1800-2000 watts daily, you're gonna pay.

two alpine type x's are probably going to sell for nearly as much as a Mag //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i think two type r's would fit your budget and your amp.
