the persian empire at its height, stretched from modern day egypt & greece to the border of the indus river through pakistan.

the islamic empire stretched from morocco / spain in the west all the way to present day india, kyrgystan, uzbekistan, turkmenistan, and armenia to the north. since then islamic populations have spread even further into asia (indonesia having the largest musilim population in the world) but not necessarily by way of the sword. I could go into detail about the different sects of the empire (ex Safavid, Mughal, Ottoman) but I'm too lazy.

I'm pretty sure thats accurate, but if you have any questions i can look it up and get the actual data...
