trying to find that perfect HU

so basically for the price range ive been looking at the best i can come up with is the Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD. The only problem i really see with this HU is the fact that it only has 2 RCA preamp channels.

is this really the best in dash video player in the 300-400 price range?? I cant see to find anything else with better reviews. Anyone else have any suggestions for a HU??

the kenwood DDX512 is also nice but only has 2 pre-outs also...

well im going to be hooking up two subs with a mono amp, and also 4 speakers 2 front 2 rear through another amp, i was told i need more then 2 is that true?

id rather not use splitters because ive heard that can cause some sound quality to be lost because its not direct. I Mean if it comes down to it and I have to use splitters I will but id was hoping not to.

splitters are fine. also many amps come with preamp outputs.

ya i deffintly dont want that. But seriously no one knows of a in dash video unit with 3 preamp ouputs in the range of 300-400??

i used splitters on my zapco amps and they still gave out amazing sq.

using splitters you would lose the ability to fade
