Trying to find an amp

Hey guys,well I've ben out of the car audio world for awhile since I sold my car, but soon will be upgrading the system in my jeep

I'm planning to run a single 10" RE SR which is a dual 2 ohm Voice Coil and runs at 300W RMS

If I looked things up correctly, then I can run this at 300W at 1 ohm or 4 ohms

I'm trying to find an amplifier to use for this. Size of the amplifier is extremely important since space is very tight, I am just not sure whether I should go with a mono amp or 2 channel or what brand to look at for both price efficiency and quality

with Dimensions: 12.6" L x 7.6" W x 2.4" H Its a small amp that fit under the front seat in my civic. I test fit it and powered up but never used so its almost new. I'd sell for $200 shipped if interested.

at 1 or 4 ohms you have alot of options. You can Strap a 100Wattsx2 channel amp to it strapped for 400 @ 4ohms. That will also allow you to have a 2 channel amp for the future when you decide to upgrade.

I am not sure of the dimensions I have to work with yet, I am still in the very early planning stages, upgradeability is not something that is necessary because there really is no room for anymore than this 1 10" in the Jeep...

I would prefer to run the amp at 1 ohm (cheaper to buy generally).

Louisiana CRX - So this SR sub would run 600W @ 1ohm just fine? If thats the case then I would want an amp in that range

are there any opinions on the Hifonics Brutus BXi 606, it is rated at 600W x 1 @ 1Ohm RMS

list a budget, and someone can probably find something better than the hifonics in that price range.

not really a specific budget would like to keep it around 200$ if possible
