Trying to find a mid bass.

List some mid basses that you think perform well and sound good. I'm trying to see all of my options and then narrow it down. Not looking to spend a whole lot, but I'm not scared to dump out the cash either. The only thing is the woofer has to be a 6.5 and it will be put in a door, not in a box.

Well not sure if i will be going active or not. This is just a daily driver as far as how it sound. I have no mid bass at all, and I don't want to play mid bass through my components so I wanted drivers just for this purpose. I want to put them in my rear doors, in the factory location because I have no room in my truck.

Well in that case no, I won't be going active. I'll just be using the crossovers on the amp.
