Trying to find a head that will fit my Reatta

All, I need help!!

I have an 89 Buick Reatta. The factory stereo is controlled by the touch screen ECC unit that also controls climate control so I can’t remove it. I have removed the cassette deck and the opening is almost large enough for a double din head but it is only about 4.5 inches deep. I would like to install a combo DVD/CD/GPS but I think the best solution would be a remote head if I could find one. I have plenty of room for the electronics if I could find a system with a remote head to mount in the cassette opening. I haven’t seen those for years. Is there still such an animal or do you have any suggestions short of trashing the whole dash and starting from scratch?
