Trying to choose.

I know Ive put up threads about these subwoofers before but I got some new questions. I recently upgraded to the SAZ-2000(thanks for the millions of replies saying go sundown) and I love it. I currently have it pushing my two type rs and it sounds amazing down low but Ive noticed that with all this extra power they dont hit precisely anymore which was to be expected. SO............I was planning on upgrading to 2 12 DC Level 4s but I also found a for sale thread for someone trying to get rid of two SA-12x that have the upgraded coils to handle 1k watts RMS. The box Im going to be using is 1.75 cu a piece at 35hz which I know is a little big for two 12s but my type rs have been doing fine in it. I honestly am kinda mad because I cant get my type-rs to get really warm but I didnt tune my amp yet I just turned the gain up about 3/8ths the way and played it. But yea....to the questions....which subwoofers would you decide with??? Will the fact that the DCs have a 3in coil vs the SAs having a 2.5 make a really big difference???? Any other things i should consider when taking a look at these two subs???

1.75 is small for a 12

Well both Sundown and DC recommends 1.5 for ported enclosures and even smaller if your gonna push more power.

I know most people use 2 cubes + per sub.

really??? I mean most people on here seem to like to send more power than RMS to subwoofers so it wouldnt make sense to use a bigger than recommended box would it??? especially that much bigger than recommended...

if DC recommends 1.5 then go with that... i had my two 12in XLs in 1.5 each

You want 1.5ft each sundown, 3ft common is better. Your doing something wrong if your current subs don't play accurate I've ran 1700rms to a type R and it never skipped a beat or sounded sluggish
