A friend of mine got accepted to the same college as me and I keep asking her what classes she is taking but she keeps telling me she hasn't enrolled because our high school lost her ACT scores //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif I mean come on there is more then one copy of your high school transcript in your personal folder, and I'm sure if you were really trying that it wouldn't be too hard to get ahold of those scores. With her GPA and the scores she made on the ACT I didn't think she was going to get in so I was suprised when she said that she did, so I'm thinking that she is lying about getting accepted. Now the school I (we) are going to has a deal with like a community college I guess and if you don't get into the University, they feed you some load of money love ***** story that you can go to this school and still feel like an OSU student blah blah.
Having worked in an Admissions Office for 3 years, I can tell you what I know. This could be school dependent or the rules of all major universities, but our university does not pull standardized test scores from high school transcripts. AP and IB scores (depending the personal situation sometimes); SAT and ACT never. Thats why when you take those tests you fill out on the back the school of your choice the scores should be sent to. You could call up OSU and ask them if they have the same policy on test scores. Obviously if they follow suit like us, then your friend gonna have some explaining to do. If they do pull scores from transcripts, then it is possible that she could be "accepted" but like she said is not "enrolled" yet (which are two seperate things within themselves).

Whatever excuse she comes up with in reference to her ACT scores, you could just tell her that she can call the ACT office and have her scores sent to the school which will cost her money or bring in the scores (which is the best way to handle paperwork problems) that were sent to her home and they can make a copy of it and add it to her admissions file.

If she got an apt. by the school, then I wouldnt doubt that they got her on some sort of provisional acceptance. My bust for the long post.
