Trying to build a $200 Budget system in a 300zx

A friend of mine is looking to put in an extremely small system in his 300zx, I think its like a 91' or something. He already has some low entry level JVC head unit, but with the kind of system he wants, it probably wouldnt even matter if he had a stock head unit.

He really doesnt know shit about systems, and as said, he only wants to fork out about $200.

This is what he is going to need:

-1 Set of front components

-1 Single 8 or 10 inch sub

- Either 1 amplifier to power the components/sub, or 2 amps one for each.

-A set of 4 channel RCA's, and 2 channel RCA's

-Power wire, Fuses, Speaker wire

-Sub Box- I can build for him.

He wont need any sound proofing, practically a waste of time with the equipment that he wants.

SO what I would like from you guys is to throw me in the right direction on what his options are.

So far I have:

Sub amp- Profile 400SX

Components AMP- 200sx

Components- PHOENIX GOLD RYVAL V65C's

Sub: Kicker CVR 8

Throw me some options guys! He will have no problem buying from the classifieds, or ebay!

tell his cheap *** to fork over some more cash you havent even included power wire, fuse block, ring terminals, battery terminals, speaker wire and all the other odds and ends unless your doing it for a challenge.

All of the little stuff, I pretty much already have. Ill probably charge him $30 for the small shit. Im looking for recommendations for the bigger things.

dude shut the **** up. he psoted the budget, dont just be like get more money. Maybe to his friend car audio isnt to him what it is to us. to him. 200 bucks could be a waste of money, to us, its nothing. (when put in car audio)

so dont post dumb shit, either help him, or shut the **** up

to the op: i would help but im not too good on the budget stuff

There's nothing you can really get with $200. All I can suggest is a set of RSD's, buy an amp in the classified section and try to get a HU from the classifieds... That'll run you $200 or so.

But you still need wire.

I like the car. Personally, with that, his best option is to get a cheap pair of decent coaxials, and match it with a small subwoofer.

I would consistently check the classifieds, and craigslists, for any good deals.

He's going to only be able to get small amplifiers, but in the hatchback, the sub will put out a good volume. There's not a whole lot of choice in the matter for him - it's going to be whatever deals pop up. Take whatever good deals you can find.

so you have a shatty system to huh? get real man... can't build a system for 200 bucks

he doesn't have a high budget because those cars cost more to maintain then just about anything...but i would still give everything i own for one.
Oh there not that bad, normal upkeep isnt bad. Its when you clack off on the normal stuff and cause a bigger problem. Thats when it gets pricey.

Im a Z32 fanatic

Plus i own one:D

HE already has a head unit.

And guys. you CAN build a small system with $200, without wiring and all of the little things of which I already have.

I can get some profile amps, Kicker CVR... and that right there should be about $130-150 or so, so another $50 for some speakers and its done.

Just thought you lazy ***** would have more input than a simple "cant" be done, when it can!
