trying again

my RE SX subs are having problems. the tinsel has loosened up quite a bit from when i got them, so they're moving a lot more. they are causing little faint spots on the spider. they haven't hit the cone because of the tampons there, and they're still connected good.

just wondering what i should do to fix them?

well they are still glued on and soldered on very well, it's just the problem of them slapping the spider. could i shorten them up a bit, or glue them to the spider or something?

i don't know if it's good advice, but, i used some of that heat shrink tubing to stiffen it up. take that with a grain of salt and make sure. it did work for me though.

i'm sure you could really mess things up using fire to heat it. i used a hair dryer. it took along time, but it shrunk it enough. i cut little strips of electrical tape and wrapped 4 of them around it. been that way for 2 years now.

I probably wouldn't worry about it tho
