up to a certain point, probably. But i dont think you can just put bigger wire and expect to get more power, it just allows power to flow easier and more efficiently.

 
the guy said say for instance my alpine has two 20 amp fuses in it he was saying if you put say 35 amp fuses in your wattage would increase.

 
If you change the fuses in your amps to bigger ones, you will not gain any extra output from the amplifier. All you will gain is the likelihood that your amp will fry.

I don't believe that. As long as it's as big or bigger than the amp's fusing then its good. IMO

Say again? You don't believe you'd have a greater chance of frying your amp if you put bigger fuses in it? What do you think the purpose of the fuse is?

It's there to protect the amp from overcurrent, the trace on the board and the components in your amp are rated at a certain point if you put a bigger fuse in you are potentially allowing more current to hit these parts than they are designed to handle. Then that would be smoke you smell coming from the amp.
