Trupan Ultralite

Normal cuts are fine, but the 45's are a ***** with MDF. It's a pretty decent $40 Craftsman carbide blade.

When doing the 45's you're cutting around 1 1/2" of material and it's probably the motor more than the blade as it's a pretty small table saw.

I noticed a big diff when doing the 45's using the Trupan as it just cut much easier.

Anyone looking to buy Trupan, US Rep is Rob Mortonsen 425-258-2217. He'll be able to locate a local lumber yard that will order it for you, or that might have it in stock.

It may not be totally worth the weight difference, but Its also supposed to be much easier on your tools. Thats whats really makes it worth it to me. Plus I feel it is much easier to work with as well.

To me it was MORE than worth the extra $$$. Box is 8.5^3 net, double baffle, window bracing, and 45's in the corners. I can easily lift/move it by myself. MDF would give me a workout....

And x2 on the easier to work with and easier on your tools.
