Sealed box question

Will the shape of the box affect anything in a sealed enclosure? Im looking to get 1.8cubes and have come up with 16"high, 24"wide, and 11"deep. Will that be fine?

the shape won't matter, but the direction you fire it will

K, i used the rockford fosgate box wizard to come up with those specs, using 3/4inch MDF it should be 1.79cubes gross, does that sound right?
