trunk specs question

ok, im new to enclosure calculations. i was tryin to figure out how much space i have in me trunk, and i set the maximum LxWxH = 36x25x19in which comes out to 9.8ft^3. does that sound right for a 2001 cavalier trunk size?

and im plannin on gettin 2 12" dual 4 ohm type-R's powered by a hifonics bxi1206d or bxi1606d (not sure yet). the biggest box i have seen someone in online forums is a 5 cube ported box. i would assume cube=ft^3. so then i would have enough room to make a nice big ported box..

anyone know if im right or wrong??

just to let u know type r want more than 500rms probally like 1000rms+

yeah, im getting the opti2000 for my type r's ive decided.

Also, that 5 cube box is 38" long i beleive and 26" deep, too big for you

yea, i kno they are power hogs. ive been readin the type r blog on here. those amps are 1200 and 1600 so i think thats about right.

and i thouht that 5 cubes would be too big. do you have any suggestions to how big my box should be with the size of my trunk??
