trunk floor dips in

ok so my amp and sub make the floor of my trunk like dip in .... so me and my friend cut out 2 pieces of thin like 1/4 cardboard wood and put it under the linner in there now . anyother ideas

I have the same problem in my '87 accord... though mine has room for a full size spare and has a donut in it now. I might just buy a full size spare just to hold everything up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.... another possibility it to use 1/4 or 1/2 MDF cut to fit the trunk. It'd have to be in 2 peices and you'd have to cut a big 'ole circle out to get the spare out but it'd work. I'd go as thin as possible so you don't add too much weight (3/4" would add alot of weight) and don't drastically reduce the size of your trunk...

ya i dont wanna use thick wood 1 becuase of the weight and 2 it will stick up too much..

yup... I'd try to get 1/4" MDF (if they make it?!?) you prob won't have to screw in down either... not that it'd be hard... ohh you could also fiberglass it but I think that'd be alot more work and $$$..
