JL is not that good. decent though.

Hifonics Brutus 1208D is awsome.

Rockford, MTX, Kicker. Sundown, Soundstream, DD, All do above rated power

you need 1000 @ 2 ohms if you have 1 dvc 4 ohm. check out the kicker 1000.1

oh i thought i need 4 ohm but i have 3 of them but im hooking them up seperatly so i can get max power otherwise i was thinking 2500.1 from kicker for all three at 2.66 ohms?

Hook them all up to one amp, 2.66 ohms is correct if you need to wire up all three subs.

it'll save you some money. unless money isnt an issue

right but a zx2500.1 is about $700 + shippnig i can get (3) A1800 for about 1100$ local and (3)zx1000.1 is about $300 + shipping.

what is best and most effcient way to go about and i will be happy with?

Have you tested both? I would like to study the data.

I have run my tests and JL is not as efficient as Hifonics and JL doesnt always put out rated power unless DC voltage is high enough.

Thats why I chose Hifonics for my setup.

The Cruch GP Pro 3000D is awsome for the price. At 2.66 ohms you will see about 1300 watts. at 12.6 volts.

MTX 1501D is right around that power too.

I think the JL 1000/1 or the Alpine pdx 1000.1 are your best 2 options to truely get a 1000 watts. reason being is bc the JL and Alpine both push out 1000 watts 1-4 ohms, not to mention that the JL does the at 11-14 volts...

lol we clamped a friends jl 1000/1 and it was only pushing out a cont 1140 rms...... not too good I dont guess

I have a PDX 1.1000 and it's an amazing amp but it won't do 1 ohm. I don't think it even does 8 ohm. But it does say right on the box that it's 1000 watts rms at 2 and 4 ohms. Mine tested closer to 1200 though. Personally though, I think JL audio gets hyped up way to much. My buddy had JL 1000.1 and that thing ran so hot you could light a cigarette off of it.
