Hello everyone,
System: JVC Arsenal H/U, Silver Flute 6.5s/Dynaudio tweets and crossovers in the front, Eclipse Point Source 6x9s in the back, PPI PC2400.2 (mids/highs), Cadence Daytona 12D2, Cadence Daytona 2500.1 (sub)...Monster 0 gauge power, 0 gauge flexaprene ground run from the block, all the wiring bells and whistles.
So I took my car to a collision repair shop to get some body damage fixed and the guys at the shop messed with the adjustments on my stereo, cranked it and damaged a number of things. They aren't claiming responsibility of course so I'm stuck. I've already replaced the head unit and RCAs but still have an issue.
When I turn the system on after sitting overnight, the sub amp lights up but doesn't start powering the sub unless I crank the volume. After it kicks on, as long as I don't shut the car off and let it sit too long it's good to go, even at low volumes. If I park the car at let it sit, I have to crank the volume for the sub amp to start powering the sub again.
I'm at a loss, any help would be appreciated.
