Trouble Switching Head Units Between Trucks!!!

I've tried everything I can think of but still can't figure anything out. Hopefully you guys can help.

I currently have a pioneer DEH-P47DH installed in a 1994 Dodge Ram. I'm trying to install it into a 2001 Dodge Ram. It currently has a universal chrysler adapter harness on it. The thing is that the pioneer DEH-P47DH won't work in the 2001 Ram. I thought that it might be that the wires were somehow swithched around in the seven years between the trucks but that doesn't appear to be the case. The wierd thing is that the stock cd player from the 2001 ram works just fine in the 1994 Ram since they have the same hookups. Is there anything that you guys can think of that might be causing the pioneer DEH-P47DH not to work in the 2001 Ram? I sure as hell can't figure it out!!!

Thanks in advance

Yeah, it's powering up just fine. There is no sound coming out of any of the speakers though. I've tried doing everything with the head unit that I can think of that might cause it to mute but nothing seems to be helping.

check the blue, or blue w/white wire's.

disconect your connection of that wire only from your pioneer wire harness to the factory wire harness. find the factory amp turn on wire on your factory wire harness and power that up with the blue w/ white from the pioneer HU and it should work.
