^^^^this. I'm a big block fan though. have had two in my truck a 429 and a 460. the 429 had more power but the 460 took a beating for 8 yrs. only dying from stupidity on my part. The 429 is going to go in my 1964 fairlane sport coupe. (after it gets built).

I'm assuming you're not talking about a boss 429 big block right? Considering rusty barn finds go for like, 60 grand, engine alone. lol I would love to throw my turbo kit on a BBF but that ish is too expensive for my budget right now. I'm just gonna dart block my coupe and make 1400 to the wheels that way.

I did however read a article on how to make a boss. you need to find a pair of heads(boss heads), and do a bunch of machine work to the block and it will be a boss. well... a cheaper version of a boss. same hp, and look like a boss. but even a pair of the heads will go for several thousand, needing repair.

If I ever even found a pair anywhere reasonable I would do what I could to buy them. how awesome would that be in that 64 fairlane.
