'bout the only Floyd album I wouldn't recommend is Atom Heart Mother.
Some of the stuff off of Piper is on EXCHOES - the double disc set that came out not too long ago. I don't have the actual album to Piper but the stuff from it I have heard via the other is trippy indeed...
