Is this the one, Mylows? I could probably get that one and get well-powered twin 8's for it. Any suggestion on the choice of subs? What would be the best subs for rock and metal, for the KICK effect, not the "Big bass thump" sound?

That 10inch Kicker Subwoofer that I gave you the info on, unless you want to buy a pair of 8inch subs.Yet, that is entirely up to you of course, and those JBL components are very nice sounding with a good warranty also.IMO,You can always do one ten for now, and add another in the future if you want as well

I'd prefer smaller 8's since the smaller they are, the more the sound "kicks" instead of "thumping", if you understand... Those are great subs, and worth the money, and with a good enclosure, will sound very good.Nice choice:boink:

I don't want a huge thump, as in rap beat, hip-hop background synthesized beat and whatnot. I listen to double-pedal extremely fast drumming, will that be able to keep up?

Also have yet ANOTHER question... I already have some coaxials, if I want to add a pair of tweeters to them, anything I need to know or I can get any tweeters whatsoever? (I know some are better, I'm just talking technically speaking).In fact, my question is more : Can I add tweeters to coaxials?

You can, and the amp should drop to 2ohm stereo, which most have no issues.Most tweeters come with a bass blocker added in the speaker wiring provided I really like Titanium tweeters, as they are a bit harsh/louder than the soft dome.Though, I have had a set of JBL 1in Titanium tweets that were awsome, Kicker KS25 tweets sound great, and Infinity tweets, are my favorites, other than the CDTs.Just make sure that they have bass blockers on them,The cheapies usually dont provide them, and you can buy the blockers for like $6bucks shipped off of e-bay, but yes you can, cheaper than buying a set of components.Some coaxials may even have the removable tweeter that can be placed at a different location as well.Something to also consider.Hope that this has helped
